Colosseum & Forum Tour

This tour touches on Ancient Rome’s history and monuments, built during 13 centuries, from the foundation of the city to the fall of the Western Roman Empire.
You will walk through the ruins of the Roman Forum, that was the religious, economic and jurisdictional center of Rome.
You will visit the Coliseum, the Tryumphal Arches of the Emperors Constantine, Titus and Septimius Severus, the Temples of Vesta, Saturn and Romolus.
The tour continues at the feet of the Palatine and Capitol Hills to the Theater of Marcellus, the Temples of Portunus and Hercules, the Arch of Janus and the Arch of the Argentari (bankers).
You will also see the Circus Maximus, the Truth Mouth (legendary lie detector that was instead an ancient drain cover) and the Tiberine Island.
During the visit you can taste tradional food in cosy historical restaurants in the famous nearby districts of Testaccio and Campitelli.
